A Code Red has been issued for the coming days due to an extreme fire hazard caused by high temperatures, strong winds, and persistent drought. This decision was reached following consultations between the organizing committee, the mayor of Teruel, and the vice president. They emphasize that the safety of the rally and the spectators must be the top priority.
The region also points to the exceptional wildfires of recent weeks, which have already placed heavy demands on emergency services. The government and organizer are now working together to find a new date later this year, and are looking at a more stable calendar position for future editions to reduce the risk of overlap with periods of high wildfire risk.
