Spierings proves his skill, Cavigliasso takes the win

Paul Spierings won the final stage in the Challengers category, finishing 14 seconds ahead of Yasir Seaidan and 1 minute ahead of Dania Akeel. Spierings had a strong Dakar performance, but technical issues in the 10th stage cost him a chance at the overall standings. However, it was clear that competitors who were no longer in contention for the overall rankings gave everything for a stage win on the final day. The entire top six of the day was no longer competing for the overall classification.

The overall victory went to Nicolas Cavigliasso. It was simply a matter of finishing in his Taurus T3 Max, and he did so without taking unnecessary risks, delivering a controlled performance in the last stage. He won with a lead of 1 hour and 11 minutes over Goncalo Guerreiro. Guerreiro, a Dakar rookie, had an impressive debut. Pau Navarro finished third, 1.5 hours behind Cavigliasso.

Puck Klaassen suffered setbacks during the ninth stage, which caused her to lose her top-ten position in the standings. Nevertheless, she persevered, finishing 9th in the final stage and 19th overall.

Lex Peters finished 16th in the stage and was the highest-ranking Dutch driver in the overall standings. Along with Mark Salomons, Peters secured 9th overall, a solid result.

Gert-Jan van der Valk finished 24th in the final stage and placed 14th overall. Richard Aczel, making his Dakar debut with the experienced Wouter Rosegaar as his navigator, finished 26th in the stage and 17th overall. Marinus Streppel, who failed to finish several stages, was no longer in contention for the overall standings but recorded the 32nd fastest time in the final stage.
